NJGOP Gubernatorial Polls
2025 Primary
New Jersey has less than 6 months until everyone rediscovers the County Convention process that preludes the Primary election. New Jersey’s unconstitutional and corrupt “County Ballot Lines” are still unresolved, and Republicans are not seeking the “fair office block” county ballot designs that the Democrats are fighting for. It is my fear, that by June 2025, the Establishment NJGOP will have all their ducks in a row and NJ Republicans will “vote down the Line” for another nonpreferred candidate.
Bill Spadea has proven to be the preferred candidate in two of the latest polls. In the beginning of September 2024, NJ1ST hosted a poll with 1,173 votes, showing Bill Spadea winning with 45.5% of the vote. Second was Ed “The Trucker” Durr with 28.9% of the vote, third was Jack Ciattarelli with 22.5% of the vote and Jon Bramnick with a lonely 3.1% of the vote. (1)
In the beginning of November 2024, Matt Rooney of The Save Jersey Blog hosted a poll with 2, 600 votes, showing Bill Spadea winning with 41% of the vote. Second was Jack Ciattarelli with 35.2% of the vote, Ed “The Trucker” Durr with 19.7% of the vote and Jon Bramnick with 4.2% of the vote. Both polls show Bill Spadea as the preferred candidate, and Jon Bramnick as the nonpreferred candidate in New Jersey’s Republican Gubernatorial Primary. (2)
Republican State Senator Jon Bramnick has never had a primary. As far as I can tell, for two decades, Jon Bramnick ran unopposed. Now, Bramnick thinks he is the only one who can defeat a Democrat candidate for Governor in 2025, but can he win a primary? (3)
In both polls, Jack Ciattarelli and Ed “The Trucker” Durr position themselves competitively in retrospect to Bill Spadea.
Last year, Bill Spadea told me that there were “10 out of the 21” NJGOP County Chairmen working with his team to “help raise money and help recruit candidates.” Also, in counties where NJGOP Chairs refuse to accept Spadea’s olive branch, Bill has the support from Republican mayors and councilmembers for Common Sense government. This strategy foresees the importance of county committee voting at NJGOP County Conventions (4).
Bill Spadea officially announced his campaign for Governor in 2024, and he has organized grassroot support that is hungry for change in New Jersey Republican leadership.
